Work Permit Issue
1. Job Offer
- The employer in the UAE must provide the foreign worker with a formal job offer.
2. Labor Approval
- The employer then applies for labor approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), ensuring that no Emirati national can fill the position.
3. Employment Entry Permit
- Once labor approval is granted, the employer applies for an employment entry permit (visa) that allows the worker to enter the UAE for employment.
4. Medical Examination
- After arriving in the UAE, the employee must undergo a medical examination to confirm they are fit to work.
5. Emirates ID and Residency Visa
- The worker must apply for an Emirates ID and a residency visa. This process also requires a medical examination and biometrics.
6. Work Permit Issuance
- Finally, after receiving the residency visa and Emirates ID, the work permit (labor card) is issued, enabling the individual to legally work in the UAE
